SF Recruitment are working with a fantastic organisation based in near to central Birmingham that require a dynamic, forward thinking Finance Director to come in on an interim / part time basis. The role comes at an exciting time for the organisation, currently going through transformation with a review of processes etc allowing the individual to have a real impact. Further duties include:
Lead the Fund finance function, providing a full range of treasury and accountancy services including the preparation and review of accounting statements, Fund budget, financial reporting and the Fund's annual report and accounts. Leading the development and maintenance of Fund finance policy and procedures to deliver a structured and risk based approach to financial management, enabling the Fund to achieve its regulatory requirements and strategic priorities.
To ensure that all tasks supporting the Fund's financial management and accounting - contribution monitoring, benefit payment runs, investment transactions, tax returns, VAT reporting and reclaim - are accurately completed and recorded. Responsible for the accuracy of the general ledger and bank reconciliation including accounting for contributions, benefits and investments.
