Allports Rental operates a growing fleet of 1200 vans, trucks and trailers based in the Midlands and throughout the UK. We offer a full range of contract hire and rental services providing tailor-made transport solutions to our expanding customer base.
Due to fleet growth and expanded on-site operations, we have an opportunity for an experienced Commercial Vehicle Tyre Fitter to work alongside our Workshop team at our Lichfield site, working on our own Fleet vehicles and Trailers.
What are the responsibilities of the role:
- Fitting tyres to our fleet of Commercial Vehicles and Trailers (tools and facilities provided on site)
- Processing of high-quality tyres into stock
- Ordering of new tyres for our Rental fleet
- Issuing Torque tags
- Assist the Rental fleet team with Tyre support
The successful candidate will:
- Have Tyre Fitting experience (ESSENTIAL)
- Have good knowledge of Commercial Vehicles and Trailers
- Have good customer service skills
- Be reliable
- Be enthusiastic
- Be comfortable working in a busy fast-moving environment
