At Tutology we strive to deliver the best in educational services. We are a developing and personal online company, delivering high quality and affordable tuition in Maths, English and Science. Our learners can range from highly academic with strong educational backgrounds, to those from low income backgrounds or with SEN requirements.

We're currently on the lookout for highly skilled English tutors to join our team. Are you a high achiever with strong academic background? Do you have what it takes to be a positive role model to the future generation of learners?

Tutology is currently hiring committed and reliable tutors who have a passion for teaching and can deliver a positive experience for students who are lacking in confidence or struggling to grasp concepts. We're searching for sincere, patient and supportive educators who work with us to achieve each student's goals.

Availability:

• Minimum 4 hours commitment per week.
• Weekends and Weekday evenings, with the occasional daytime availability.
• Lessons to continue weekly at the allocated time slot.

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS (we can assist with this if required, at a cost).
• Degree 2.1 or above, or currently studying towards a degree.
• Subject specialism: Level 8/9 in GCSE English Literature / Language and A-Level English Literature / Language, Maths or Science (Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics).
• Familiar with 11+ and Independent Examinations in around London and the South-East.
• 2 professional references.
• Prior tutoring/teaching experience (preferred).
• Strong time management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Complete live online training to reach the required standard.
• Deliver structured lessons via Zoom and be fluent with online delivery using a range of online tools and resources.
• Make use of Tutology resources when delivering the lesson. Use our online tutor portal to manage schedule, students and homework.
• Provide individualised feedback for each student within the required time and format.
• Liaise regularly with Tutor Coordinator and attend monthly progress meetings.

We're seeking tutors to deliver: GCSE English, 11+ English for Grammar and Independent School Examination preparations, GCSE Maths, 11+ Maths for Grammar and Independent School Examination preparations, GCSE Science, KS3 Maths, KS3 English, KS3 Science.
