We are looking to appoint experienced tutors to support pupils with English and Maths. These roles have been created to help pupils in years 7-13 whose education has been affected by school closures as a result of Covid-19. As a tutor, you will be required to deliver online and face-to-face 1:1 or small group tuition (up to 3 pupils) to provide a longer-term contribution to closing the attainment gap. You will work in partnership with senior leaders and heads of department to support pupils’ progress in identified subjects.
The successful applicant must be reliable, positive, adaptable, and committed to working with pupils, displaying good communications skills and a sensitivity to the needs of individual pupils.
We are looking for dedicated and passionate tutors with:
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Teaching Assistant or equivalent
- a good understanding of KS3-KS5 curriculum
- the ability to work as part of the SEND team
- strong communication skills
- a genuine enthusiasm to work with children
- skills to adapt to meet the needs of our pupils, either in 1:1, small or larger group settings
