We are looking for exceptional candidates for this role in order to meet our total commitment to our Academies and the children they support. To that end, you must meet the following requirements:
The successful applicant will be required to work across the English curriculum to support students with varying needs in small groups (2-4) or in a 1-2-1 setting.
You will be an inspiring tutor/teacher with the energy and creativity to develop and inspires students learning. You must possess the skills and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of our students and share our single goal of ‘students first’. You will be an outstanding tutor with the ability to teach up to GCSE level. The department aims to continue its success at GCSE whilst striving to exceed its targets at all key stages. We are committed to delivering the best possible outcomes for our students and you will be supported by the Head of Department both at the academy and across the Family of Schools.
The post is a key appointment in terms of enhancing and ensuring the positive life chances for our students through success and achievement. As such we are keen to recruit a dedicated and ambitious professional, on a casual basis, who will add value to our Academy in both academic terms and through involvement in the fabric of learning and success beyond the classroom.
The Academy benefits from being part of the Outwood Family of Schools, which affords opportunities for staff to work and progress across several schools if desired. All staff are guaranteed a minimum of two hours CPD per week and a further comprehensive programme of professional development is provided through our own network of teaching schools.
