Post Title: Trust Assistant Cook
Post Grading: Salary – Grade 3 Points 5 - 6 currently £21575 - £21968 Pro rata to £14640.18 - £14906.86
Hours 30 hours per week for 38 weeks per year (Term Time Only)
Start Date: Negotiable
Following the launch of our LwLAT brand dine@ we are looking to recruit an experienced assistant cook to cover our school kitchens within the Trust. You could be covering for a cook, so will need to be able to prepare fresh meals according to specification, similarly you could be needed to assist in the kitchen with stocktakes, cleaning and service at lunchtimes. So, you will need to be an all-round hands on person who can think on their feet and fit into different environments quickly. This is an exciting opportunity as we are continuing to grow our catering operation and provide an increasing number of healthy, sustainable lunches to our students and staff alike. As there will be the necessity to cover different sites, you will need to work flexible hours and be able to work at any of the Trust academies, as required.
Hours of work – 30 hours per week, 38 weeks per year (TTO)
Place of work – Based at Lancaster Academy, covering all Academies within the Trust.
