Are you a Scrum Master looking for your next move?
We’re currently looking to hire a Scrum Master to join Legal and General Group Technology.
As a member of a highly effective product-based team you’ll manage the application of the Scrum Framework, by promoting and supporting Scrum as defined in the Scrum Guide. The Scrum Master is responsible for helping people understand the theory, principles, practices, rules, and values of Scrum. They are a servant-leader for the team who helps the team and its environment to organise, collaborate and improve, in order to maximise the value delivered to our customers
What you'll be doing- Scrum Master services to the Product Owner:
- Ensuring that goals, scope, and product domain are well understood by the team. Use effective techniques for product backlog management to help the team understand the need for clear and concise product backlog item
- Scrum Master services to the Development Team:
- Coaching the team in self-organisation and cross-functionality, helping the team to create high value, high-quality products, removing impediments to the team’s progress and facilitating Scrum events as requested
- Scrum Master services to the Group/Organisation:
- Leading and coaching the group in its adoption of Scrum by helping people understand Scrum and product development
- Being responsible for managing the Scrum Framework, facilitate Scrum events making sure that they take place and that attendees understand the purpose and outcomes of the events
- Providing transparency and visibility by tracking and reporting team-level delivery metrics. Radiate Information
- Driving the adoption of engineering practices such as test-driven development, pair-programming and continuous delivery to improve quality and reliability of the team’s outputs and outcomes
- Striving for continuous improvement across engineering processes and practices
What we're looking for
- Demonstrated experience as a Scrum Master in a development environment.
- Having knowledge of applying Scrum, Kanban and XP engineering practices.
- You’ll have the ability to provide Scrum Mastery services for product ownership, team and group.
- Having the ability to influence decisions, change and priorities through data-driven evidence.
- It will be nice to have Knowledge of general software engineering good practices
- Knowledge of how to lead and improve highly effective teams
- The ability to educate and challenge interactions which prevent the team from focusing on their work
