What will you be doing as a Class 2 Driver?
- Driving a Class 2 Vehicle in a safe manner, complying with all road traffic, and vehicle legislation
- Delivering to a network of retail stores for our new customer; New Look, unloading vehicles at delivery points
- Collecting and logging returns
- Completion of tachographs in line with legislation and company policies
- Performing vehicle checks at the beginning and end of each journey and reporting all defects
- Ensuring the vehicle and stock are properly always secured
Relevant skills and experience as a Class 2 Driver:
- This is a physically demanding role including lifting and shifting – it is essential that you are physically able to lift items
- Valid LGV, HGV Class 2 License
- Valid Digital Tachograph card
- Full Driver Qualification card (Driver CPC)
- A general understanding of driver's hours legislation and working time directive
- No more than 6 points on driving license
- Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential
- Time management skills and comfortable in working to deadlines
