Job description
An established family run waste and recycling business based in Charlton, South East London we are currently recruiting drivers to fill positions in our expanding fleet. Servicing London and the surrounding areas we collect non-hazardous waste from our customers to recycle at our plant.
We pride ourselves of having the best fleet in the industry which reflects with our accreditations. Our fleet of vehicles include cage, skip, tipper, roro, dustcart and articulated lorries.
Previous experience is ideal but not essential as full training will be provided.
A extremely competitive salary from £35,806.00 and above depending on experience is offered to the successful candidate with a wage review after completing a three month probationary period
The ideal candidate must live within a reasonable travel distance to the depot.

Your main responsibilities will include:
- Driving our HGV vehicles
- Collecting waste for recycling in a safe manner
- Dealing with challenges as they arise
- Working as part of a team and supporting your colleagues
- Remaining professional at all times
- Driving within the Highway Code and Road Traffic Act at all times
- Completing company paperwork
- Completing walkaround checks in a professional manner and raising defects when they arise
- Working every other Saturday
Requirements or Skills:
- Class 1&2 driving licence
- HGV experience an advantage
- Have no major endorsements on your licence
- Ability to learn quickly
- Have good communication skills
