****Experienced HGV class 1 driver required****

The Staffing Network is a labour provider across the UK.

The Staffing Network Limited are recruiting for Class 1 driver to work for our busy clients in Doncaster and surrounding areas.

Curtain work- pulling trailers from Immingham port, delivery/collections around the UK.

Also amazon work.

Must be prepared for a night out.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Delivering palletised goods.
• Most drops will be unloaded by the customer although some handball may be required.
• Use of straps and ratchets to ensure load is secured.
• Must be able to complete in good order the delivery/collection documents/cmr
• Completing vehicles checks
• Maintaining vehicle cleanliness inside and outside of cab, reporting defects and incidents promptly
• Refuelling vehicles.
• Must look presentable as this position is customer facing role
• Induction 30 min
• Be flexible to the client's needs
• Good level of English

Key skills and experience:

• DC, loading bays
• Curtain side trailers
• Flatbed
• Valid driving cards and good knowledge of driving within the WTD and EU regulations and law.
• Min 1 year experience in the UK.
• Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work
• Customer Service, polite on approach.
• No more than 6 pts
• NO DD, DR, IN or other major endorsements

Shift times

0400-1500 depending on client's requirement.

Min 8 hrs shift.

45 min break is deducted

Pay Rates LTD

Monday to Friday pay £180

Tramping shift pay £210 (including night out)
