Job description

Responsibilities:

• Operate a company truck in accordance with all state and federal regulations; follow all safety procedures and guidelines
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable truck for passenger use; make sure all passengers are informed of the need for supplies, food, etc.
• Perform random checks of the truck; check the condition of the tires; make sure the doors are locked; make sure the doors open and shut correctly; make sure the interior is clean and orderly
• Provide excellent customer service and interact with customers to answer any questions or address any concerns that they might have
• Follow procedures to ensure that deliveries are made on time
• Follow procedures to ensure that inventory is maintained
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior experience operating a commercial truck a plus but not required
• Experience using GPS navigation system preferred
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English as to follow company policies and communicate effectively with team members. Also, must be able to read and understand maps and road maps. Must be able to drive a variety of vehicles including box trucks, vans, flatbeds and trailers.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £15.00-£20.00 per hour
