HGV CLASS 1 DRIVER

WORKING FRIDAY TO MONDAY: FLEXIBLE START TIMES

£600 - £700 PER WEEK BEFORE TAX

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a well established Client based in Chesterfield. We are looking for HGV Class 1 drivers for ongoing work to cover Friday to Monday.

This is a great chance to join a major company in the Transport Sector with work available all year round and not just in peak. This position could become a permanent role for the right candidate.

Day to Day Duties

• Follow Company procedures and comply with the Driving Laws
• Set a refrigerated trailer temperature
• Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed and unit is well presented at all time
• Trunk runs to depots

Essential Skills

• Hold Category UK C+E licence
• Hold UK CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Have a minimum of 18 months experience driving C+E vehicles
• Maximum of 6 penalty points with no major endorsement codes
• Work in a professional manner

Desirable Experience

• Experience using temperature controlled trailers is desirable but not essential.

What training is provided?

Driving assessment is required.
