Job description
The Role
An exciting career opportunity has arisen for an experienced Physicist to join our highly successful global company based in Warrington.
The talented individual we are seeking will be a key member of a team, responsible for the supply of non-destructive assay equipment for performing nuclear measurements, mainly in support of decommissioning and disposal and waste management activities across the UK and elsewhere.
You will play a part in the design, build calibration, test and delivery of measurement systems to meet the specific requirements of our customers and also for providing measurement and expertise services to related applications.
For the systems build work you will be expected to provide the physics expertise (e.g., mathematical modelling and data analysis for evaluation of the performance of the measurement system). You will often be required to act as the technical lead, having oversight and responsibility for ensuring the technical requirements of the project are met whilst working closely with a project manager.
You will be involved in performing radiometric measurements at customer sites and providing advice to our customers based on these measurements to meet their specific needs.
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Warrington and belongs to the Industrial Division, Europe and Asia reporting to the Physics Team Manager.
