Job description
The Role
As a Junior IT Systems Administrator, you will report to the IT Lead and work closely with the wider IT team and key stakeholders to maintain, implement, and develop the IT infrastructure. Additionally, you will provide end-user support for IT related tasks. As a technical problem-solver with a range of expertise across Windows, Linux, and Mac, you will play a key role in supporting the growth of our fast-paced company. Responsibilities
- Provide IT Support to the studio and act as a technical escalation point for the IT Support Team.
- Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual infrastructure.
- Support a largely Windows based hybrid Azure server environment.
- Create and configure GPOs, Intune Policies.
- Maintain and support Okta workflows and SSO integrations.
- Setup and manage devices in Intune Endpoint Manager (Windows, Macs, iOS and Android)
- Monitor and maintain our backup solution, Veeam.
- Ensure devices are kept up to date with patches.
- Create and update documentation using a wiki (Confluence).
- Work with virtual infrastructure hosts (Nutanix, VMware and Hyper-V)
Requirements
- A problem-solver who enjoys helping users and resolving issues.
- Passionate about IT systems with some experience and technical interest in the field.
- A team player with excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities and make quick decisions with limited information.
- Experienced supporting Windows-based environments and familiar with Microsoft Windows Server, PowerShell, AD, Microsoft 365, basic IAM).
- Knowledgeable about internal networks and IT security best practices.
