Job Title: Regional, Cross-Border AZ Truck Driver

Salary: 75- 110K Annual

REGIONAL DRIVERS COMPLETE BOTH LONG AND SHORT HAUL AND ARE DEDICATED A UNIT. NEED TO HAVE FLEXIBILITY IN SCHEDULING.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Regional Cross-Border AZ Truck Driver to join our team. Our regional drivers provide the flexibility to do it all. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods across the Canada-US border, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and drive a tractor-trailer on long-haul routes across the Canada-US border, delivering goods to various locations

• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including DOT regulations and Hours of Service requirements

• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues before and after trips, and report any defects or malfunctions to the maintenance department

• Maintain accurate logbooks and records of cargo, hours of service, and distance traveled

• Communicate with dispatchers, other drivers, and customers using communication devices to convey information about deliveries, routes, and delays

• Follow appropriate safety procedures for transporting hazardous materials, and comply with regulations for handling and transporting such materials

• Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering goods on time and in good condition, and resolving any customer complaints or issues that may arise

• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules while considering factors such as traffic and weather conditions, rest breaks, and fuel stops

• Perform other related duties as required

Requirements:

• Valid AZ driver's license and clean driving record

• Minimum of 1 years of experience driving cross-border shipments

• Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service requirements

• Ability to handle materials and follow appropriate safety procedures

• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with customers and other drivers

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel for extended periods of time

• Good physical condition and ability to sit for long periods of time
