Seeking a dependable, reliable and trustworthy contract driver that is located in Columbia SC to run reefer/dry van loads within a 300 mile radius . Looking for someone that is self motivated and ready to roll. Inbox me if you‘re interested and meet the following qualification:
*You must possess a valid Class A CDL (2 Year Minimum)
*You must be able to pass a drug test
* You must be able to pass a DOT physical or show a current drivers medical card
*Has no conviction for a “serious or disqualifying traffic violation” within the last three (3) years.
- Excessive speeding, involving any single offense for any speed of 15 mph or more above the posted speed limit.
- Reckless driving, as defined by state or local law or regulation.
- Improper or erratic lane changes.
- Following the vehicle ahead too closely.
- Hit and run, leaving the scene of an accident, or failure to report an accident.
- Violating a state or local law or ordinance prohibiting texting while driving a motor vehicle.
- Violating a state or local law or ordinance restricting or prohibiting the use of a hand-held mobile device while driving.
* You must not have any accidents or DUI’s within the last 3 years.
Responsibilities:
- Transport goods over road ways
- Operate a truck with a gross weight of at least 26,000 pounds; for which a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.
- Use computerized dispatch and communications systems to plan routes and communicate with dispatch.
- Drive safely under various conditions.
- Communicate tactfully and able to negotiate and book loads
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $1,000.00 - $2,500.00 per week
