Forklift Truck Driver
Gi Group Scarborough have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Forklift Truck driver to join our reputable client based in Bridlington, East Yorkshire.

The successful candidate will operate an FLT truck, adhering to all health and safety regulations at all times. You must have a valid and accredited FLT (B1) Counterbalance or valid B3 (over 15,000 kgs) accredited (RTITB or ITTSAR) certificate.

This Forklift Truck Driver role is a temporary on going position offering a salary up to £16.66 per hour plus optional weekend overtime at 1.5 rate.

Working Monday to Friday nights 5:00pm - 1:30am (please note hours may vary to cover business demands) enhanced rate paid after 40hrs per week)

Main duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure loading and unloading of deliveries of steel material are carried out in a safe and efficient manner following standard operating procedures
• Heavy Lifting
• To assist in stock checks
• Adhere to the company quality standards, reporting any non-conformance in relation to inbound/outbound deliveries in a timely manner
• We offer a range of services, but your main duties will include:
• Operating a Forklift around site
• Forklifting various equipment around site
• Working on site alongside other crew members and other forklift drivers.

We are really keen to hear from applicants with the following skills and experience:

• Fork lift licence B2 or B3 IN DATE (required)
• Excellent attention to detail, and ability to work to a high standard of finish
• Experience working with large steel products
• Good attitude to work
• Willing to undertake additional duties if asked
