We are working in partnership with the UK’s largest independent drinks wholesaler and are recruiting for a Drivers Mate. This is not your ordinary Drivers Mate job opportunity, this is a Drivers Mate position where they invest in your future and even progress you through to a Class 2 Driver!

Months 3-6 is all about learning the routes, the customers, the processes.
Months 6-12 is about progression into a delivery driver with a designated route
Months 12+ is all about getting you your Class 2 license and then out on your own routes
A driving license, able to demonstrate excellent levels of customer service is paramount within this role, but also understanding that this is a physically demanding role as you will be moving and delivery kegs, trays of bottles and beer.
The available shifts and pay:
- Tuesday to Saturday 6:30am (approx.) until finish 4pm (latest 6pm)
- 1 in 4 Saturdays required
- £11.50ph rising to £13.50ph after achieving Class 2 license
- £2000 company performance related bonus
Successful candidates will be pro-active team workers, liaising and co-operating with all members of staff. Operate within the confines of company policy and procedure requirements, including integrity and confidentiality in respect of the business. Abide by health and safety legislation in respect of yourself and others.
