Job description
Cross Country Carriers has been in business for 40 years. Offering warehouse/storage, contract hire, single and multi-pallet distribution which can be tailored to customer requirements, we pride ourselves on offering a friendly and professional service.
We are now seeking to recruit a full time experienced Class 1 HGV driver for day shifts and some nights out, Monday to Friday.
The role involves the strapping and roping of timber products before delivering them to building sites nationwide.
We can offer an immediate start following an on-site driving assessment, interview and induction.
To be considered for this permanent role you will:
- be able to demonstrate the highest levels of professionalism
- have held a current Class 1 licence for a minimum of 6 months
- possess a digital tachograph card, and have full knowledge of driving hours and working time directive legislation
- hold a current CPC card
- have no more than 6 points on your licence
