Job description

Aura Liberty Recruitment currently require forklift truck drivers for multi-industry and multi-sector business organization in Gloucester for day, afternoon and night shifts.

This role is located in Gloucester GL3 4AJ

Duties:

• Preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule
• Receiving and processing warehouse stock products
• Forklift trucks duties loading, unloading etc.
• Performing warehouse inventory controls and keeping quality standards high for audits
• To carry out picking accurately above the required minimum pick rate.
• To handle all aspects of goods receipt, unloading vehicles, handling documentation and entering information into the Warehouse Management System.
• To control flow of despatch volume, by booking in vehicles, releasing despatch orders, checking documentation and physically checking loads before departure.
• To carry out general housekeeping, stocktaking and maintenance duties, to ensure that the profile of the site is maintained to the very highest standard.
• To be responsible for Health and Safety of themselves and the other team members by adhering to safe working practices.
• Key Responsibilities Ensure unloading of vehicle is done accurately and on a timely basis Ensure pallets are put away to racking accurately and on a timely basis Ensure replenishment is carried out accurately and on a timely basis Ensure picking tasks are completed accurately and on a timely basis Ensure full pallets collected from PND/APR racking are correctly put into marshalling lanes on a timely basis Ensure load is 100% accurate prior to loading Ensure trailer is loaded correctly Ensure Due Diligence is maintained
• General warehouse duties

Requirement:

• Valid Forklift truck license
• Minimum 6-month experience as a forklift truck driver

Shifts available as below:

Following day shifts are available (8hr shifts);

• Saturday and Sunday 1200 – 2000, then any three other shifts 0600 – 1400 or 1400 – 2200 rotating.

Thursday to Sunday (10hr shifts);

• Thursday and Friday 0600 – 1600 or 0900 – 1900.
• Saturday and Sunday 1000 – 2000.

Saturday to Tuesday (10hr shifts);

• Saturday and Sunday 1000 – 2000.
• Monday and Tuesday 0600 – 1600 or 0900 – 1900.

Tuesday to Saturday rotating days (8hr shifts);

• Tuesday to Friday 0600 – 1400, following week 1400 – 2200.
• Saturday 1200 – 2000 every week.

Sunday to Thursday rotating days (8hr shifts);

• Sunday 1200 – 2000 every week.
• Monday to Thursday 0600 – 1400, following week 1400 – 2200.

Payrate

• Day shift £11.76 per hour, overtime £15.29, Bank Holiday £17.64
• Afternoon shift £11.76 per hour, £15.29, Bank Holiday £17.64
• Night shift £13.35 per hour, overtime £17.36, Bank Holiday £20.03

Job Type: Temp to perm
Contract length: 3 months

Salary: £11.76-£20.03 per hour
