Job description
Alfa Staff are recruiting for a Driver’s Mate for our client in Newport.
The Driver Mate role involves assisting the driver with deliveries, helping to carry boxes of products to the customers addresses.
You will have to be physically fit as you will be delivering to Chinese restaurants and the storeroom may be in the basement or on the top floor of a three storey building. You will be carrying up to 25 Kgs+. You will need to also carry out banksman duties guiding the driver when parking.
Safety Boots and Hi viz and work wear needed.
Start times: Between 6am-8am
Pay Rate - £11.00 per hour.
This is a temporary role which may result in ongoing permanent work for the right candidate.
