Maintenance Electrician

What does a Maintenance Electrician do?
- Read and interpret drawings and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.
- Maintain, repair, test and install electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, cable assemblies, lighting fixtures, motors, generators, hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems.
- Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial electrical and electronic control systems by testing equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
- Monitors performance of all electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacements through a formalized electrical PM system.
- Assist other Maintenance mechanical crew members with general facility and equipment maintenance and repair related tasks as assigned.
- Adhere to all HS&E laws, policies, and procedures.
What you bring to the table
- 442A Industrial Electrician License
- 3-5 Years experience as an Industrial Electrician in the Automotive parts fabrication industry
- Practical knowledge and experience of manufacturing processes and equipment, materials, tooling, presses, pneumatics, hydrolics, and controls.
- Experience working with robotics and PLC’s is an asset
- Must be able to regularly stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, reach, lift, and carry weights of up to 50lbs.
Salary/Wage Information: Starting Rate is $40.52/hr
Previous experience is required, but we are open to individuals with previous transferable skills such as: Electrician, Maintenance Electrician, Industrial Electrician, Robotics, PLC, Electrical)
