Altum is working with a brilliant international Non-Profit organisation to recruit an experienced Treasury Officer to join the team on a permanent basis. As a Treasury Officer, you will play a vital role in managing the financial resources, and ensuring effective treasury management. The successful candidate will need proven experience in treasury operations within an organisation.
Role Responsibilities:
- Implement efficient processes for treasury management, including the settlement of international payments.
- Maintaining vital bank relationships
- Manage foreign exchange risk and develop strategies to minimise exposure.
- Business partner with a variety of stakeholders across the organisation, e.g. Grant Payments team, Income team, Country Office finance teams
- Production and maintenance of rolling cash-flow forecasts in multiple currencies
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and compliance with treasury policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance and support to teams involved in financial transactions and funding activities.
Personal Specification
- Proven experience in treasury management, preferably within the charitable or non-profit sector.
- Solid understanding of treasury operations, including foreign exchange risk management
- Experience of multi-currency cash flows
- Understanding of Foreign exchange accounting
- Knowledge of international payment settlements and associated challenges.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
