We’re looking for an Apprentice Procurement Operations Support Officer to join our Group Procurement Team in our central London office.
About the role
To provide professional and customer focused administrative support to the Group Procurement Team. Working as part of the Team to support delivery of the department’s strategic objectives.
You’ll be accountable for supporting and assisting with all procurement & supplier contracting activity across a range of category and sub-category portfolios to deliver compliance and value for money.
The position involves extensive contact with various levels of internal staff as well as external customers and as such developing and maintaining a professional interface is essential to maintain the reputation of Procurement Services.
Other duties include:
- Support and assist the Group Procurement Team; providing administrative and project specific support to the Category Managers, Procurement Business Partners and Supplier Relationship Manager
- Support the Policy and Compliance Manager with project administration relating to the implementation of new Procurement Regulations and new procurement technology solution
- Handle procurement requests around supplier queries and our procurement approach
- Work as part of a team and coordinate work priorities in a seamless manner to ensure a high quality service is delivered to our stakeholders.
About you
We’re looking for a confident and resilient individual with a logical approach to work, problem solving and task prioritization.You’ll have a broad understanding of procurement activity with excellent customer service skills and be able to develop effective working relationships across Clarion and external agencies and also be confident working alone.
Ability to travel across regions as and when required
About the apprenticeship
We offer the opportunity to study a Procurement and Supply Assistant Level 3 Apprenticeship, which will take up to 18 months to complete and study for your NVQ qualification. You’ll develop new key skills and behaviours which will support your personal development and progression.
