An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Travel Coordinator to join Education Scotland at an exciting time.
This role sits within our Strategic Business Unit, with the main focus to provide administrative support for travel requirements across the organisation.

This role can be based out of one of our Education Scotland office locations in Glasgow, Livingston, Dundee or Aberdeen.

- Develop, maintain, communicate and continuously improve processes and practices to support the central management of travel services. This should include health, safety and sustainability advice and guidance.
Process requests for travel and accommodation through the Travel services contract, researching options and communicating confirmation of bookings with relevant advice.
Collate and report on travel management information including sustainability performance.
Regularly engage with staff and provide a central customer enquiry point for the unit.
Support the management of the Travel Services contract, collate and relay feedback, attend meetings and arrange payment of invoices.
Contribute to the completion of corporate Sustainability, Climate Change and Health and Safety reports, advice and guidance.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of working processes and practices of the wider team and organisation.

Essential Criteria:
1. Experience of working in a fast-paced office environment, proficient in the use of Outlook, Word, and Excel IT packages.
2. Excellent verbal and communication skills, with the ability to build good working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and collaborate effectively.
3. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage your workload. Along with using your own initiative to balance competing priorities and ensure deadlines are met.
4. Ability to collate different forms of data to provide appropriate information to produce reports and recommendations.
