USA Direct is a company dedicated to providing tailor-made holiday packages to our customers wishing to visit the USA and The Caribbean. Established in 2021, we’ve experiencing rapid growth and are looking to grow our sales team further. While, as a company, we may be new to the travel industry, our team has a combined 25+ years’ experience selling holidays to The USA. With opportunities to expand our company further in the future, we’re looking for dedicated individuals to join our sales team and help us grow our business further through superb customer service and sales results. 2020 brought monumental challenges for the travel industry and as we come out of that period, we have found ourselves in a strong position in the industry following the post-pandemic changes.

As a travel consultant on our sales team, you will:

  • Deal with a high volume of enquiries daily, making a high volume of outbound calls per day whilst dealing with incoming calls and scheduled call-backs.
  • Build rapport with customers and use effective questioning and conversational techniques to identify their requirements.
  • Advise customers on the perfect destinations, hotels, and added extras (car hire, attraction tickets, accessibility needs etc) while stressing the USP’s of these in relation to their requirements to make the sale and upsell where you can.
  • You will be responsible to completing the relevant admin using company systems, ensuring all customer information is accurate and in accordance with company policy.
  • You will be goal orientated and motivated to meet sales targets set out by management.
  • You will have the relevant knowledge and training to use supplier systems as well as the applicable GDS systems used at USA Direct.
  • You will provide post-sales assistance to customers who have any queries regarding their booking.
  • Always maintain a high level of travel knowledge through personal research in order to provide the best advice possible to our customers.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 37.5 per week

Salary: £25,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
