Are you experienced in the Travel Industry and looking for a new role? I have a fantastic opportunity for a Travel Consultant to join a well-established, award-winning travel agency based in Darlington. The starting salary is paying up to £22,000 depending on your experience with up an uncapped commission and bonus scheme. You will earn on everything you sell! You will get up to 34 days of annual, discount to high street retailers and the opportunity to travel the world! The role is working 37.5 hours a week from Monday to Friday with up to 2 weeks training.
As a Travel Consultant you will be going into a fast paced, rewarding and incredibly diverse role. The role offers a dedicated Training Academy which offers support for every single member of the team. You will be supported every step of the way to help get your career off to a flying start.
What you will be doing as Travel Consultant?
You will be creating and booking in unforgettable experiences, tailored exactly to your customer’s needs.
You will be confidently communicating with prospect clients, through a wide range of channels including online live chats, social media, telephone enquiries and face-to-face conversations.
You will be offering first class customer service.
You will be meeting sales targets and working as a team to contribute to your branches over all targets.
We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:
Previous experience working in a retail travel environment is desirable.
Persuasive and effective communication skills.
Confidence, determination, and drive to succeed.
Someone who loves to learn – The travel industry is always changing, and you will need to be able to stay on top of trends and emerging destinations.
Tenacious – as a key member of the sales team, you will have an individual target to work towards as well-being pivotal to the overall store target.
Somebody who has travelled with sales experience.
Out going, friendly, motivated personality.
You enjoy dealing with people.
