Job description
Our client an international bank is looking for a Human Resources Assistant to join their team.
Main function of Job: To provide first class support and assistance to the Senior HR Manager. The role holder’s sole responsibility is to support the HR department – they would be the first point of contact for employees who require assistance with HR matters. They will manage all employee data systems along with day-to-day running of the department. They will also be responsible for providing the necessary reports for the department. This challenging and varied role would suit somebody looking for generalist hands on HR experience and knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide first class service and support to all employees of the Bank.
· First point of contact for all HR related matters
· Support the Senior HR Manager on various HR projects as and when required.
· Manage, maintain and develop the HR IRIS Cascade system and the Bank’s HR Intranet page independently.
· Provide monthly statistics and reports from the database as and when required.
· Provide monthly and quarterly reports on all HR Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Board Pack.
· Assist the Senior HR Manager with the packs for the HR Appointment and Remuneration committee
· Assist Senior HR Manager with the pay and reward process.
· Provide support on all recruitment and selection processes, assisting the Senior HR Manager with short listing, setting up interviews, and providing candidates/ agencies with feedback.
· To deal with all incoming email and correspondence on the HR inbox.
· Manage all HR filing and administration for the department.
· Responsible for ensuring that the HR database is up to date for reporting purposes.
· Manage and maintain employee physical and electronic files and archive as necessary.
· Manage the attendance and absence process for the bank.
· Collate all monthly changes for the monthly payroll.
· Undertake entire on-boarding process, including background checks, etc.
· To assist with the leaver process, including IT Leaver Forms, holidays, arranging exit interviews and collecting company property.
· Manage the Bank’s interning process from start to finish.
· Manage the Bank’s probation process from start to finish
· Manage study leave applications from start to finish
· Manage all the bank’s benefit administration
· Monitor and manage the probation process liaising with managers where necessary.
· Assist the Senior HR Manager in updating the company benefits
· Assist the Senior HR Manager with all audit requests when required;
· Book employees on training programmes and update training spreadsheet.
· Cover the duties of the PA to the CEO as and when required
· Keep record of all employees’ immigration and right to work - inform Senior HR Manager of any expiring visas and invalid right to work.
· Manage the day to day running of the HR Office.
Education /Skills/Experience:
· Must have a minimum of CIPD Level 5;
· Must have experience using the HR IRIS Cascade Software and XpertHR (Essential)
· Minimum 5 years’ experience in an HR related role;
· Knowledge of managing Intranet and report writing skills
· Strong Technical HR knowledge is compulsory
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
