Job description
An amazing opportunity has arisen for an experienced Travel Consultant to join local independent and family run travel agency, Il Mondo Travel based in Chesterfield, Derbyshire. If you have a passion for the world and all the beautiful places it beholds then this is the role for you.
The Role:
- Identifying and meeting customers’ needs
- Handling travel enquiries and booking for all aspects of travel including tailor made, package, cruise, ski, rail journeys, short breaks, flight only etc.
- Delivering high quality service to customers
- Build and maintain relationships with customers
- Assisting with the day-to-day operation of the office
- Work in a small friendly team
Required Skills:
- Excellent travel product knowledge with a good working knowledge of tour operator systems
- At least 2 year’s experience as a Travel Consultant
- Passionate about travel and tourism
- Customer focused
- Attention to detail
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- A recognised travel qualification (desirable but not essential)
- Competent IT Skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From £10.50 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
