Location: Thirsk (YO7 3HE)
Salary: £30,000 annually
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift pattern: Night shift Sunday – Thursday 22:00 – 06:00

We make promises to our customers, and we'll make promises to you too. The key responsibilities in this role include;
- The safe, legal and efficient execution of transport operations during a duty shift to network SLA's/KPI's
- Vehicle maintenance including Defect reporting & register, servicing, ordering fuel and maintenance of vehicle files
- Responsible for driver and fleet legal compliance during shift in accordance with DHL Asset Management Centre of Excellnce standards, including driver licence checks / eye checks, vehicle weight checks
- Ensuring Drivers are appropriately trained and familiarised with equipment, including ensuring they have varying ID log on's to the drivers TC57 cab device which holds varying driver apps with individual sign on's.
- Organising loading / unloading schedule, including ensuring all IPN Treat loads are aligned and signed
- Responsible for gatehouse checks and daily yard control. Close contact with yard shunters to ensure yard management is kept to high standard

- Working knowledge of transport legal compliances
- Good degree of IT literacy
- Commercial awareness
