With this in mind, Project Delivery will play a pivotal role in challenging the status quo and enabling the successful delivery of transformative initiatives.

We seek an experience Senior Project Manager to join our Transformation Management Office (“TMO”), responsible for strategic planning and tactical execution of a wide portfolio of innovative programmes and projects.

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with technology and business leaders and stakeholders to understand their strategic portfolio and business goals and translate those into actionable plans
  • Demonstrate and apply best in class programme management practices, and drive those practices within all active programs, providing mentoring as needed to raise the bar for our team
  • Report on overall programme delivery status, accounting for project cost, time, benefits, and budgets
  • Lead and facilitate weekly programme delivery reviews with programme managers and project managers
  • Monitor and review programme and project financials, costs, operational budgets, staffing, resourcing, and project risks
  • Plan, schedule, monitor, and report on overall progress and initiates corrective action, as appropriate, to ensure that programme and project deliverables are produced on time and within budget
  • Serve as a point of escalation for the projects and programmes within the portfolio – resolving individual project escalations and coaching your team on proactive planning, mitigation, and stakeholder management
  • Build a strong brand within our organisation – evangelising for Business Transformation, known as an effective and pragmatic leader


Who are we looking for?

  • A track record in successfully bringing structure to large transformation programme, within a fast paced an ambitious business context
  • Commercial acumen – able to drive and support financial and resource planning and management for portfolio projects
  • A history of success delivering end to end projects within a business transformation context. Ideally, you will have an understanding of projects which have significant digital/technology components, ideally in a B2B IT products and services context
  • Knowledge of key output and operational measures and trends turning raw data into clear and easy to understand summaries, recommendations and insight to drive senior decision making
  • Project Management “101”: Strong budgeting, planning, and project financial acumen
  • Strong communication skills; able to articulate complex concepts with a non-technical audience
  • A pedigree in communications and relationship management: Experience in customer and business relationship management and stakeholder management within a matrixed organisational context
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to lead and influence others – able to coach your team and broader business stakeholders in articulating benefits and drivers for transformational initiatives
  • Strong analytical/Excel skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and in a matrixed organization
  • A broad knowledge of IT and Business technology and applications.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification, or Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) Practitioner is desirable

You will become a core member of our Business Transformation team and Transformation Management Office. You will work closely with executive stakeholders to define and drive transformational change within our business, working with a dynamic and curious team.
