The Role & Key Responsibilities:
Operations
- Ensure that new clients and prospects are brought on efficiently and with a good
- Guide junior members of staff accordingly.
- Ensure all work undertaken complies with the Fund’s documentation and relevant
- Assist the Team Manager in supervision, monitoring and appraisal of the team.
- Follow Company procedure at all times.
- Promote excellent relationships with clients of the Company.
- Build effective relationships between individual team members.
- Be accountable for development of staff and managing team where required.
- Perform full oversight of the team and outsourcing partners.
- Drive a solution focused team and encouraging a positive working environment.
- Support all aspects of general administration of clients.
Technical
- A sound knowledge of fund administration tasks with an ability to apply the
- Understand and execute delegated elements of new business processes.
- Maintain quality and control of processes and meet deadlines.
- Assist with the smooth running of the Investment, and Call and Distribution
- Attend internal meetings organised with relevant personnel to establish the
- Assist with ensuring all client requests are responded to or delegated to the
- Assist with maintaining on-going review and updating of procedures for the team,
- Ensure the compliance monitoring of the Funds are adhered to by less
- Assist the Fund Accountants with the control and production of management,
- Review the ledgers on a regular basis, ensuring that transactions are adequately
Skills Required:
- Have at least 3 years working with a financial institution, preferable within P.E.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and coach team.
- Have an understanding of fund structures and the fund administration business.
- Ability to work in a demanding environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Think creatively and deliver pragmatic solutions.
- Possess personal qualities of integrity, good communication and discretion.
- A confident manner and the ability to communicate with clients effectively.
- Strong IT skills.
- General knowledge of banking systems.
- Target Vocational Qualifications – ICSA Certificate, ICSA Diploma, CSQS, ACCA or
similar
