The Irene Ransom Bradley School of Nursing at Pittsburg State University is accepting applications for the Learning Resource Center Coordinator. The primary purpose of the Learning Resource Center Coordinator is to oversee the Health Simulation Center and Learning Resource Center.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Facilitates student HSC/LRC experiences including Simulation Scenarios.
- Maintains clinical competence.
- Participates in instruction of clinical laboratory courses.
- Participates in advisement of students including IAAE Program and Standardized Testing.
- Facilitates enrichment for pre-licensure BSN students during remediation time.
- Maintains Inventory of HSC/LRC materials and supplies and recommends budget for HSC/LRC annually.
- Collaborates with the College of Arts & Sciences and others in support of providing technology and media resources for classroom and laboratory instruction.
- Represents the school to internal and external communities of interest.
- Supervises student workers.
- Serves as an appropriate role model.
- Assist in the HSC/LRC with Certified Nurse Aide course during intercessions.
- Assist with grant reports.
Education and Experience
Required Education and Experience -
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Two years experience as an RN in a clinic setting
- Computer and Technology competence
- Eligible for licensure in Kansas
Preferred Education and Experience -
- Master's Degree in Nursing or progress toward Master's Degree in Nursing
- Supervision or teaching experience

Salary: $50,000 per year
Job Type: Unclassified, Faculty, Non-Tenure Earning
Appointment Duration: 11 months, mid August through mid July
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
