• Facilitates student HSC/LRC experiences including Simulation Scenarios.
• Maintains clinical competence.
• Participates in instruction of clinical laboratory courses.
• Participates in advisement of students including IAAE Program and Standardized Testing.
• Facilitates enrichment for pre-licensure BSN students during remediation time.
• Maintains Inventory of HSC/LRC materials and supplies and recommends budget for HSC/LRC annually.
• Collaborates with the College of Arts & Sciences and others in support of providing technology and media resources for classroom and laboratory instruction.
• Represents the school to internal and external communities of interest.
• Supervises student workers.
• Serves as an appropriate role model.
• Assist in the HSC/LRC with Certified Nurse Aide course during intercessions.
• Assist with grant reports.

Education and Experience

Required Education and Experience -

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Two years experience as an RN in a clinic setting
• Computer and Technology competence
• Eligible for licensure in Kansas

Preferred Education and Experience -

• Master's Degree in Nursing or progress toward Master's Degree in Nursing
• Supervision or teaching experience

Salary: $50,000 per year

Job Type: Unclassified, Faculty, Non-Tenure Earning

Appointment Duration: 11 months, mid August through mid July

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
