We produce bread and bakery products created with Hovis goodness at the heart of each. We deliver around 1.3million loaves, every day of the week throughout the UK and Ireland, where we also make Mothers Pride and Ormo products.
We are 2,800 people working within 8 bakeries, 1 flour mill, and 2 regional distribution centres across the UK. Our success is a result of the hard work of our people; they are experts in their field whether it’s baking, manufacturing, logistics, engineering, or the many departments within the central functions team based in our head office in High Wycombe. To coordinate training across all departments and ensuring all records are kept up to date and on the job training is delivered to right standards and operators are trained to a competent level.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintaining the site training matrix’s- Carrying out gap analysis for training requirement’s
- Creating new work instruction’s and Sops
- Liaise with departmental managers to ensure training is completed and assessed
- Ability to delivery training on a one2one and classroom basis
- Involvement in colleague performance enhancement review preparation for operators
- Owns and reviews the training system.
- Booking courses and ensuring all training equipment and course materials are in place
- Liaising with external training providers
Essential
- Good knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint
- Experience working in an FMCG environment
- Good verbal and numerate skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience of working with teams
- Action oriented and energetic
- Previous on the job training experience
Desirable
- Experience of working in a food manufacturing environment
- AET level 3 qualified
- Bakery experience
