Job description
Landmarc Support Services work on site with Defence Infrastructure Organisation to support critical military training across the United Kingdom. We are a small business that operates nationally, but with a local feel.
We are looking for five enthusiastic individuals to join the team, you will work flexibly across sites at both Lydd and Hythe. The role requires no previous experience of working in a military environment and full training will be provided.
The contractual requirement will mean that you will be available to work between the hours of 07.30 and 23.30, this would include some weekends.
You will most likely be working shifts from 16.00 – 23.30 weekdays and on weekends, the requirement would either be an early start 07.30 – 16.00 or 16.00 to 23.30, the role will work a total of 37 hours per week this will be to predominately cover night firing taking place on the estate.

Main ResponsibilitiesMaintenance and setting up of firing ranges
Construction of targets for range use
Preventative and Reactive maintenance tasks
Grounds maintenance such as fencing, mowing and strimming
Potential for forestry work such as removal of fallen trees – training will be provided
Operation and maintenance of plant and equipment – training will be provided
Driving and operating fleet vehicles
To ensure that the Training Estate Facilities adhere to safe systems of work
The Ideal CandidateKnowledge of health and safety
Have a full drivers licence valid in the United Kingdom
Basic IT skills
Willingness to undertake full training
Basic DIY Skills
Resided in the UK for the last 5 years
