Job Title: Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant
Location: Pontypridd (some flexibility to work from home is also available)
Salary: Dependant upon qualifications and experience

The role:
- Undertake and/or assist other staff with Bookkeeping for a wide range of clients in different industries for VAT Returns and Management Accounts.
- Undertake and/or support other staff with the preparation of year end accounts for a wide range of companies, partnerships and sole traders.
- Carry out all aspects of work undertaken efficiently, thoroughly and in accordance with the firm’s procedures.
- Assist other team members to manage a portfolio of clients.
- Deliver information to the client in a timely manner and within budget.
- Manage client communication in an effective manner.
- Communicate to senior and management on workload progress and plan for efficient completion in order to ensure work planners are in line with targets.

- Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Strong IT and customer services skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
To meet our eligibility criteria you will need:
- Knowledge of using software programmes such as Xero/QuickBooks/Sage and Microsoft.
- Have some practice-based bookkeeping and/or accounts experience, or alternatively experience from industry based positions.
- Be part/qualified AAT and/or starting your ACCA course.
