About the Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen within our Top Rated Financial Advice team. We are looking for a Training & Development Manager to join our successful and growing Financial Advice team. Within the role you will introduce a new Training & Development function into our financial advice business. You will design and deliver engaging learning together with personal development training, coaching and other support for new and existing colleagues, both advisory and within our Operations, Support and Paraplanning teams.
You will work closely with other key stakeholders within both the financial advice team and the wider team across the Society. You will ensure the smooth set up and running of each programme to help us enhance the financial advice experience we deliver to our customers.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Introduce and implement a new Training & Development capability in to our Financial Advice business
- Review training requirements
- Work with the team to identify new training and development needs and programmes
- Provide effective Training, learning and development to new and existing colleagues
- Programme design, delivery and evaluation
- Evaluation training and report on outcomes
- Make recommendations for continuous improvement
- Work alongside the Financial Advice Leadership team
- Coaching, Mentoring & Support
About You
You will be a dynamic, engaging, collaborative and experienced Training and Development professional with an excellent knowledge and understanding of the financial services/ advice sector. You need to be client focused and demonstrate an understanding of the business context including aligning training to colleagues, customers and the business priorities and strategy.
As a credible leader in your field, you’ll have the ability to manage a range of internal and external stakeholders.

Salary: £43,451.00-£65,177.00 per year
