Sandwell College has an exciting opportunity for a Trainer/Assessor in Dental Nursing to join our Apprenticeship department reporting into the Delivery Lead. This role is full-time and permanent.
You will be responsible for the training and assessment of a caseload of learners and ensure that course related documentation is maintained to a high standard. You will observe learners and complete observations of level 2 learners and record work relevant to this qualification. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the delivering of high quality NVQ assessment and support across a range of programmes across Birmingham and the West Midlands.
To be successful, you will hold a Dental Nursing Diploma or National Certificate as well as a D32/33/A1 assessors’ qualification. It is also essential that applicants hold current registration with the General Dental Council. A Level 5 teaching qualification would also be desirable or, a willingness to work towards obtaining this.
