Role Overview:
As the National Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and nurturing strong business relationships with our strategic partners and customers across the country. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to achieve revenue targets and support the company's long-term business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets for assigned national accounts.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders, including retailers, distributors, and foodservice providers.
- Conduct regular business reviews with customers to understand their needs, address concerns, and identify new opportunities.
- Stay updated with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective promotional and marketing strategies.
- Monitor sales performance and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
- Participate in trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings to showcase our cheese products and expand market reach.
- Work closely with the supply chain and operations teams to ensure efficient order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with clients to maximize profitability and maintain healthy business relationships.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related fields desired but not essential
- Proven experience as a National Account Manager or a similar role in the food industry, preferably in the cheese or dairy sector.
- Strong understanding of sales and account management principles.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and trends.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and result-oriented.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the country as required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
