M&J Group are a Construction company, established in 1972, M&J Group are now one of the largest specialist construction companies in the UK. Having developed our extensive knowledge of the flat and pitched roofing, we are growing at a rapid rate and are now pleased to be looking for a Trainee Surveyors to join the Estimating department at our head office in Bedford.

What you will be doing -

• The successful candidates will be doing; nationwide site surveys, covering roofing, safeguarding, windows and more.
• Duties include attending site and undertaking full measured surveys and meeting with specialist sub-contractors.
• Post site survey works include; producing accurate bill of quantities, site plans / drawings and sending sub-contractor enquiries.
• You will be reporting to the Estimating Director and working within the wider estimating team.

What we are looking for -

• Candidates with a full and clean UK driving licence
• DBS (to be obtained by the Company)
• The ability to work at heights
• Computer Literate
• The ability to communicate effectively in person as well as over the telephone
• No experience required as full training will be given

Working week -

Working week Monday to Friday, 8am to 5.00pm with an hour lunch break.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £20,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
