Join us as a Human Resources Business Partner
- We’re looking for an established strategic talent leader to provide our business leaders with expert advice, counsel, diagnostic analysis and decision support regarding people plans and strategy
- You’ll be partnering with our Customer Engagement & Distribution managing director and their leadership team to deliver their dynamic strategy and people priorities

What you'll do
As we continue our evolution of becoming a relationship bank for a digital world, we’ll look to you to create, drive and deliver strategic people initiatives in response to strategic challenges. Using data on key people measures, you’ll identify trends and make recommendations to the business area and leadership team to drive employee engagement levels and respond to strategic challenges, including a significant transformation agenda.
You’ll also be:
- Contributing to both the functional people strategy and wider Retail business strategy as an active and valued member of our leadership team
- Enabling the business to deliver on strategic priorities, as well as driving organisational priorities
- Collaborating and creating strong partnerships with senior business leaders and broader HR to influence good strategic outcomes
- Coaching and managing the Human Resources Business Partner for Customer Contact
The skills you'll need
We’re looking for someone with broad experience of relationship management, preferably in a high volume, customer-facing business, along with excellent knowledge of HR theories, models and practices, and their application.
Some exposure to leading in an Agile environment would be helpful, but this isn’t essential.
You’ll also demonstrate:
- Experience of leading transformation and significant organisational change
- Sound judgement and decision-making skills
- Broad experience of leading diverse professional teams through complex change
- Excellent knowledge of the relevant legal policies and regulations
- Commercial acumen, and a commercially focused risk appetite
- The ability to harness data to get to the root of people challenges
