Stores Team Leader (Trainee)
Reporting to: Operations Manager
Hours: 8am-4pm (6am-2pm,1-30pm-9-30pm as part of the training)

Job Role:
As a Stores Team Leader, you’ll support our contractual obligations to the customer ensuring their day-to-day business needs are met in line with the agreed Service
Level Agreements (SLA).
Your position may require you to spend large amounts of time (if not exclusive) on customers' premises. This will make you an ambassador for On Logistics and first responder for dealing customer issues as they happen.
We are seeking an individual who is a clear communicator, with good organisational skills, a self- motivated and flexible individual.
Responsibilities:
In conjunction with company guidance adopt a best practice culture on all aspects of
Health & Safety, ensuring full compliance with policies and legislation that are in place for your safety and the safety of others
Use Citrus HR to record holidays, sickness and absence for your team ensuring low cover protection is maintained.
Recognise and work with the On Logistics Circle of Values and uphold them in your day to day role leading your team
Maintain stringent controls on material & inventory flow using the agreed processes and procedures (SOP) to ensure all on time targets (OTIF) are met.
Become familiar with all systems used in your department.
When on any site, adhere to client Health & Safety and ensure all On Logistics staff that fall under your control remain safe.
Provide guidance to all members of your team - become a mentor and the “go to” person for advice. Always encourage and nurture talent in the form of great training
With the Contracts Manager perform periodic one to one review with each team member ensuring all compliance training is upheld and recorded on Citrus HR
Ensure all training needs of your team are identified and recorded on the relevant employees Skills Matrix and Training Record.
Where possible, provide direct customer consultation to aid their growth and development. This may require direct support of workshops and events.
Ensure all staff under your control receive periodic refreshment of all On Logistics policies and procedures as they change.
Perform a range of site-specific tasks and specific functions including, but not limited to:
- Contract Packing and Kitting
- Pick and Despatch commodities under storage.
- Stores picking
- Despatch
- Component batch and assemble.
- Asset movement between value streams to aid linkage and flow.
- Inventory checking and control.
- Despatch and administration of finished goods to external carriers
Key Performance Indicators:
- Attendance – sickness and absence in your area
- Maintaining one-by-one with your team at the agreed time
- Training records on Citrus HR are up to date.
- Housekeeping and visual awareness e.g., FOD
- OJT records are up to date.
- Uniforms and all PPE issued is worn by all members of your team.
- Client targets agreed with the team.
- Quality measures defined such as Non-conformance (NCR)
The successful applicant will receive in-house on the job training as well as statutory training supplied by Onlogistics to help support the applicant with their new job role.
