Trainee Project Manager
We are seeking individuals with a passion for data managing the delivery of new products & technical service lines, to learn the fundamentals of SCRUM methodologies, user stories and acceptance tests, to embark upon a career in Agile Project Management.
Through 12 weeks of training, you will gain knowledge of key skills required to move into employment in a project manager role.
As an Agile Project Manager you would:
· Lead on the delivery of products, services and work steams, within a technical space.
· Ensuring timely delivery within project budget
· Understand agile practices, adapting them to suit the team you are working with, building and leading on agile practices across the business you are placed at
· Create prototypes
· Identify and resolve potential blockers, supporting the project team to overcome the challenges and achieve project goals
· Engage with stakeholders at various levels, maintain relationships and provide regular project progress updates
Criteria:
As this is a full training program, leading to job opportunities, this opportunity is best suited to people who have no formal experience in agile project management.
· Be educated to secondary school level (minimum)
· Be over 19 years of age before 1st Sept 2022
· Have the right to work in England, without restriction
· Able to commit to a minimum of 30 hours per week, which will include 5 hours of virtual classroom learning
· Have access to a computer, headphones, a microphone, a webcam, and a good internet connection. You must also have administrator rights to your computer in order to install required programs.
· Have a strong level of verbal & written English language
· Must not have undertaken any previous training in digital skills of your chosen training pathway
