Trainee Operations & Service Manager North Shields, England
Job description
We are looking to recruit a Trainee Operations Manager with strong organisational and communication skills to take a lead role in a growing company.
Initially, the primary aim of this role would be to oversee the customer facing aspects of TheTechTeam, following up with and booking in customers who have requested service, keeping them up to date with their repairs, organising a team of technicians and managing the logistics of a busy computer repair company. However, the role is seen as a training programme to develop future senior leaders of the company.
The company currently covers the North East, Cumbria, Yorkshire, Durham and Scotland but has plans to grow it’s reach nationally within the next 18 months. This role will evolve and the successful candidate is expected to develop into a Regional Manager and then eventually to lead the entire company when it reaches nationwide scale.
The Role:
- Manage the logistics of a busy service business, planning and overseeing the day to day operations.
- Taking a lead in ensuring the company is delivering excellent customer service at all times.
- Managing a small team of staff that all jobs are covered and all locations are appropriately staffed.
- Outbound calls to customers who have requested our service to get them booked in.
- Working with our Head Tech and Head Courier to achieve company KPIs.
The Person:
- Be extremely friendly and able to quickly build relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Always willing to go ‘the extra mile’ to ensure that a customer is delighted with the service received.
- Fantastic organisational skills and the ability to make decisions quickly.
- Be adaptable as things change very rapidly in a small business.
The Details:
- Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
- North Shields office based but some driving may be required.
- Starting salary of £25,000 with OTE of £33,000
