Our Operations team is expanding, and we are seeking a Trainee Operations Manager to play a crucial role in managing and coordinating utility projects across the Oxfordshire region. This full-time position is ideal for individuals seeking to transition from a hands-on field role to a more office-based position. If you have experience in the Electrical, Water, Gas, Fibre, Civils, or Street works sectors, we want to hear from you!
So, what will you be doing?
As an Operations Manager, you will have overall responsibility for efficiently overseeing multiple projects, ensuring the delivery of results aligns with customer expectations, company KPIs, and industry guidelines. Additionally, you will:
- Act as the liaison between clients, field teams, and office staff, ensuring seamless project execution across approximately 10 sites.
- Maintain a strong on-site presence to oversee project progress and address any issues that may arise, making sure operations run smoothly.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
- Develop the ability to identify and resolve operational challenges efficiently and effectively.
The Person:
The successful candidate must be organised, have strong communication skills and the ability to problem-solve effectively. Ideally, we are looking for candidates with experience in the utility sector, which may include connections, civils, or street works.
