Core Responsibilities
- Develop and drive global media strategy for the LEGO Group, based on trends and insights on consumers and shoppers
- Own the planning strategy and relationship with key global media and ad tech vendors
- Lead the relationship with the global media/external partner agency to ensure effective and efficient media activation across markets
- Direct test and learn initiatives in media innovation and activation, and drive standard process adoption
- Build media planning and partnership capabilities in the organization. Partner with regional media leads for effective execution of media programmes.
- Ability to identify and bring to bear mutual value from third party partners
- Collaborate with digital product organization to enable relevant ad tech capabilities
Play your part in our team succeeding
Global Marketing Planning & Performance leads the development and implementation of the integrated marketing plan of the LEGO Group across owned-earned-shared and paid media. It provides activation guidance based on consumer and shopper insights, and coordinates effective execution across markets and touchpoints to address brand and commercial objectives. Within this function, the Media Strategy, Partnerships and Innovation team drives the direction for effectively reaching the consumers and shoppers of the LEGO Group, amidst an ever-evolving marketing and technology landscape.
Do you have what it takes?
- Extensive experience and consistent record of defining and activating successful global Media strategies for a leading brand, in brand management, or media agency, or consultant role
- Strength in marketing planning and media strategy
- Global leadership experience, preferably seasoned in driving transformation across multiple partners and markets.
- Experience in managing external agencies and third-party partners
- Demonstrated abilities in driving innovation
- Robust competences in digital media, including operational experience of programmatic, search and social technology platforms
