We’ve recently secured MaPS funding to provide an England-wide phone/digital advice. The service is free to clients struggling with debts and will offer a full range of support helping clients find a way forward with their debts. You'll join our existing team of experienced Caseworkers who'll deliver the service in collaboration with 8 other LCAs the country, working together as one contact centre to help almost 200,000 people per year.
The service operates shifts covering the hours Mon-Fri (9am-8pm) and Sat (9am-1pm). This is an excellent chance for you to receive comprehensive training to develop your career in the advice sector, achieving competence as a Money Advice Caseworker within 6-12 months (attracting a salary increase to £27,832).
Successful applicants will have:
- At least 6 months experience of delivering excellent customer service in a regulated environment such as banking, insurance or a contact centre.
- Ability to work independently without close supervision and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Experience of listening and questioning with an ability to manage challenging situations.
We value all our people and can offer a supportive culture within a charity setting that is committed to social justice. This role attracts a rewarding remuneration package with excellent terms (see job pack for info).
