Vines of Gatwick have an exciting opportunity to join the MINI Sales team as a Trainee Sales executive. Our Trainees undergo an intensive training period in order to progress through to a fully fledged sales executive after 6 months. You will be given all the tools and support required in order for you to reach your full potential.

Our Sales Executives work over five days; Monday - Friday 08:30 - 18:00, Saturday 09:00 - 17:00. In line with our commitment to ensuring our people have a good work life balance, the team doesn't work on Sundays and you will have a fixed day off in the week.

Salary: £23,028 - £30,000 based upon previous sales or customer service experience (not industry specific).

Key Responsibilities

You’ll make sure that every customer feels unique by understanding exactly where and how a MINI fits into their life. It’s all about matching the person to the right car and ensuring they have the features and add-ons to suit. From financing to contracts, you’ll aim for total customer satisfaction right through the process.

You will also be responsible for:
  • Managing relationships with your customers, including keeping In regular contact with them about our products always maintaining a customer focused mindset.
  • Prospecting new customers by telephone, looking after email contacts and walk-ins.
  • Maintaining our state-of-the-art customer contact system with up to date and accurate records.
  • Ensure product knowledge is kept up to date and relevant.
  • Provide exceptional customer service which leads to customer loyalty and referrals.
  • Good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of your work.
  • Operation of the full sales process from initial enquiry through to customer retention

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

As a business we are extremely passionate about progression and development so previous automotive sales experience would be an advantage, but not essential. You might come from a general sales or customer service background, but have the drive to achieve and succeed.
