Job description
We are looking for a Trainee Machine/Warehouse Operative to join our team based in Whetstone, Leicestershire. Full training will be provided.

Job Responsibilities
Your job responsibilities will include:
- Willingness to learn new skills, with full training provided
- Assist with operating CNC machines, under supervision by Factory Manager
- Assist with the manufacturing, fitting and assembly of components for doors
- Support Factory Manager with loading and setting machines, changing tools on machines etc.
- Assist with moving, handling and storing material within the factory and warehouse
- Unloading deliveries from delivery lorries and assisting with the storage of goods to their correct location at the warehouse
- Perform other general warehouse and labouring duties as needed
- Follow Health & Safety policy and procedures
Requirements
- No previous experience required, but will be advantageous
- Positive attitude with willing to learn new skills
- Good communication skills
- Be a good team player as well as able to work independently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment
- Attention to detail
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Willing to work overtime and weekends as required
