We are looking for a Junior Trainee Accountant for an innovative accountancy practice looking to add to an already diverse and highly skilled workforce. We are looking for junior accountant to help deal with a burgeoning client base. No experience necessary as full training will be provided. Experience in accounting software and studies is preferred but not essential.
The role will include undertaking high-quality work for a range of business clients, including sole traders, partnerships, charities and limited companies.
We are looking for a hardworking, dynamic, ambitious individual with a positive ‘can do’ attitude who is looking for a challenge.
You will have pace, accuracy and understand the importance of excellent client service.
You will have confidence with numbers, great attention to detail and the ability to confidently talk to people to build client relationships. The right candidate will enjoy great on target earning potential. Training with a team of professionals at various levels in their own accounting career, you’ll learn the full range of core finance skills from the start of your career. You’ll have exposure to and be responsible for client work from the very beginning, quickly building a portfolio of clients and areas of technical expertise. We’ll supplement your accounting experience with project work to expand your skills and over time you’ll progress to more complex finance work as your knowledge and ability to add value to your clients deepen.
Duties will include:
- As a Junior trainee Accountant you will be Managing a portfolio of LTD companies, start -ups and handling all aspects of their accounting needs.
- Limited company accounts finalisation
- Bookkeeping updates
- Data entry
-Liaising with HMRC
- Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT / MTD returns
- The provision of excellent customer service by answering to customer queries and by being able to liaise with the Tax Office to solve problems of different client cases.
- Credit Control duties: setting up payment plans for receipt of fees and taking payments from clients.
- Preparation of rental and sole trader style tax returns.

Salary: £15,789.37-£32,261.66 per year
